Audio engineering for live event production makes up my primary body of work but I am always looking for opportunities to expand my professional and creative skillset. This page is a collage of skills and services I offer to clients. Look for links to examples of specific projects not limited exclusively to live production.
I’m available as an A1 to mix FOH and monitors for concerts, special events, corporate presentations conferences and broadcasts. I can spec and deploy PA systems from top manufactures including d&b audiotechnik, JBL, L’Acoustics, etc. The majority of the my time I mix on Yamaha QL and CL series desks, but I wont turn up my nose to an LS9. I also feel right at home on consoles from Digico, Midas, Soundcraft and Yamaha.
As a system tech I’m also comfortable in the A2 position. I know an experienced RF technician is key in a city with a busy spectrum. I’m happy to handle wireless systems including microphones, IEMs and intercom systems from Shure, Sennheiser, Clearcom/HME, Telex/RTS.
I enjoy working in the studio as much as being out in the field. My Brooklyn studio is set up for multitrack recording and mixing including digital, analog and hybrid workflows. I have a great collection of classic vintage outboard, microphones and instruments.
Tech and repair work is more of a necessity born out of my studio work and a love of vintage gear. Some recent projects include a complete recap and refurbish of a Studer 900 series console and a repair, alignment, and calibration of a four track Studer A80 tape machine.
I’m based in Brooklyn, but I’m open to travel for gigs. I’m always up to see a new city, meet new people and work in challenging spaces. Here’s a few shots from some of my favorite locations in and around NYC.
